Privacy policy

This policy explains how Proxa Company (“Proxa”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit proxa.sa or contact us, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations.
Who we are
Proxa Company (شركة بروكسا) is a one-person limited liability company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@proxa.sa.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, work email, organization, the stage of your project and your question, plus anything else you choose to include. The contact form does not store or send these details: it opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, so we receive only what you send.
- When you browse: privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that count page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the service, and keeps these logs for a short time.
- Your language choice: your browser remembers whether you prefer Arabic or English. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work with you.
- To keep a record of our correspondence, as far as we need to run our business and meet our legal obligations.
- To understand how the site is used overall, through aggregate statistics, and to improve it.
We do not use your data for automated decisions, or for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process data only on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Microsoft 365 (email), Sanity (delivery of blog content and images) and Google Fonts (fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads). We share personal data with anyone else only when a law or a competent authority requires it.
Where it is processed
Some of these providers process data outside the Kingdom. Where that happens, we follow the conditions the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations set for transferring data outside the Kingdom, and rely on the providers’ contractual and security commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need to reply and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together or the law requires us to keep them longer. Then we delete them. Hosting logs are kept by the provider for a short period.
How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to those who need it.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- be told how your personal data is collected and used;
- access your personal data and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to destroy it when it is no longer needed;
- withdraw your consent where our processing relies on it.
To use any of these rights, email info@proxa.sa. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the competent authority, currently the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
Children
This site is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will publish the new version on this page and change the date above.
